Installed an empire direct vent heater under our soffit vent which causes all the exhaust to flow right up into our attic and cause ice damns. I’ve left messages for them the last 2 years and haven’t been able to get them to call me back. I finally reached out to the supplier for empire who told me putting them on a wall with soffit vents is a big no-no for that exact reason, and pretty much said the only fix is to get a different furnace put in.

After installing a smart thermostat my furnace started acting up and giving me intermittent heat. I had another company come out and they told me I needed a $600 control board and brushed me off when I suggested the issue might be being caused by the thermostat.Marco from Muotka came out the next day and sure enough, the issue was the thermostat. $216 dollars and an hour later, Marco replaced my thermostat with a new one and resolved my furnace issue. It’s been a few days since the repair happened and the furnace is still running like a champ. Awesome experience!!! I cannot recommend Muotka enough!! 15/10 do recommend!!
I have used Muotka Mechanical over the past several years in maintenance and installation and even in emergency situations and they have always gone above and beyond in their work. The owner Greg has done an exceptional job of employing a talented group. You can always expect to get a response when you reach out and that they show up when they promise and do honest and high quality work. In addition to that, Greg and his team are professional and extremely pleasant to work with. The always communicate about the issue at hand, the plan to fix it and will take the time to walk you through what was done. I highly recommend them.
I called Muotka Mechanical around 0815 to talk to them about some work they had done on my new home a month or so prior. Around lunch time Greg Muotka had a technician out to address the issue and the customer service was great with prompt communication. The technician (Andrew) was very knowledgeable and spent extra time talking to me about my heating system, maintenance for it, and issues to watch for. As a new home owner I really appreciated the time he spent teaching me and I appreciated that the company stands by their work. 10/10 would recommend.
