Sherman recently fixed our HVAC system and did an impressive job. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do to replace a broken part and get the system back up and running quickly. He was polite, respectful and thoroughly cleaned up his work space. After the installation, he carefully checked the radiators throughout the house to ensure each one was working as expected. This process led to a few adjustments in the boiler room, but he handled everything like the seasoned professional he is.Sherman provided white glove service and I would definitely give him a five star rating! I would be very happy to work with Sherman again!
Sherman and NJ were amazing. They were extremely polite, efficient and professional. They got the job done on a Saturday in just a few hours. We will definitely be using their services again for any plumbing work in our home. Thanks guys!
Our heater broke down during the coldest week of the year, and we had to replace it quickly. This company was fantastic from start to finish.Gary, Chris, and Binny were thorough and professional. Adam explained everything clearly and kindly. Marcus went above and beyond - his skill and perseverance solved our pipe issues, and his kindness truly stood out. This is a wonderful company with a team that truly cares. Highly recommend.
My boiler stopped operating earlier this month. I placed a call to Dr. HVAC late at night and given that I was without heat, they sent a technician early the next morning. Bryan checked out the boiler and advised that it would need several new components. The cost was such that it made more sense to replace the entire boiler. As the boiler was older and I had not been happy with it for some time, I accepted this diagnosis. Within an hour, Jennifer from Dr. HVAC arrived to discuss my options for a new boiler. We quickly settled on one, I was happy with the price, and early the next day Sherman and Garey arrived to install the new boiler. By that evening we had heat and hot water. Separately, Sherman also adjusted the manifold feeding radiant heat to an ensuite bathroom, providing floor warmth that we had done without for many years. Overall, my wife and I were very grateful for the prompt service and extremely pleased in our dealings with all four of the people from Dr. HVAC.
(WORST EXPERIENCE EVER) Update as of December 12, 2025:It has been 4 months since our AC broke - not that we need it now given its mid-December. However, two repair technicians arrived today, pulled more parts off of our AC, left them on the floor, left other parts in stair wells and then left without a word to anyone! The also left the AC completely uncovered with wires sticking out everywhere. (See Photos)This is completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Our "brand new" AC has now been broken for 4 months! We are also mind blown that they would not only leave the house and stop working without letting any of us know, but to also leave parts all over the place. We called them and their admin has no idea what is going on.Highly recommend buying your AC from anywhere else. Worst experience we have ever had! They have continuously not respected my elderly father.Update: Two weeks later we have still not received a call back from a manager and our AC is currently in this state, unusable (see photo).------Original ReviewOur brand new $9000 air conditioner which was installed less than six months ago started pouring water through the air vents of the unit (inside our house) last week. We had a technician come in who told us multiple parts of the unit where completely burnt out.Dr. HVAC does not want to simply replace the entire unit but rather is insisting on ordering replacement parts -a fix we understood would occur in a timely manner. One week later we still do not have a working AC; parts of our house are sweltering, and every time we call in we are told a manager will call us back yet we never receive a call back.Currently our AC is in pieces, some of which are still sitting in our stairwell. We also explained to them that two of the residents who live here are elderly and we need the AC fixed ASAP.Not sure if the company is under new management but this experience has been greatly disappointing and frustrating.
