I went with this company to help support a locally owned 2nd generation business. Owner and his son were at my location for other work thru another company when I requested a quote for a new heating/AC unit. The quote was prompt and professional and included and electrical service upgrade.. A date was set and installation took place. After learning that permits may be needed for the type of work performed, I checked with the City of El Paso and found no permits had been issued for my residence. I sent an email to Cesar regarding my issues. He responded by obtaining permits from the city. The city inspected the exterior of my home (not the interior to insure proper venting) and passed the inspection. The electrical permit was in the name of another business VIR Electric. That permit says passed also...HOWEVER - El Paso Electric did not issue a permit nor did they pull and reinstall my meter when the service was upgraded. I am now left with a meter base with no seal and Strauss Heating and Cooling as well as VIR Electric leaving me hung out to dry.......alone....with no support.......BEWARE OF THESE COMAPNIES - NON PERMITTED WORK CAN AND WILL COST YOU MORE MONEY AND THEY WILL NOT FINISH THE WORK PROPERLY BY OBTAINING THE NECESSARY PERMITS!

From the very start, Strauss Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. exceeded our expectations. Cesar Strauss came to our home on a Saturday night—one of the coldest nights in El Paso—when other companies wouldn’t come out on short notice. He went up on the roof and thoroughly troubleshot the issue, exploring every possible option to restore heat. Ultimately, the unit was beyond repair.

Cesar demonstrated the utmost professionalism and clearly explained our options, which led us to decide to replace both HVAC units at once. Prior to installation, Jose came out to assess the ductwork, and together Cesar and Jose reworked portions of the ducts to improve airflow and relocated a poorly placed thermostat to a more centralized location.

Throughout the entire process, Cesar communicated clearly and answered all of our questions before, during, and after the installation. The team was clean, courteous, and easy to work with. We highly recommend Strauss Heating and Air Conditioning!

Excellent service provided by Cesar and Juan! They showed up on time, did their best to diagnose the issues... I ended up needing a new system. They had my HVAC replaced/installed within 2 days. Cesar and Juan are amazing. Professional, polite and kind. Their work Is meticulous and fast. They are very knowledgeable in diagnosing problems. Their prices are very reasonable. My daughter just bought a house and 6 months later it needed a whole new refrigerated unit and they got it installed in 4 hours. They have gained two life long customers, myself and my daughter.
