I called Nova Heating with a recommendation from Sullivan Fuels and I am so glad I did! They came out and looked at my furnace and said my blower motor was gone and that my furnace was at the end of its life ( turns out it is over 40 yrs old). They sent me a quote for a new furnace,a new blower and a like new used blower. I asked if I could get the used one until late spring when I can get the money for the furnace ( which is at really good price) They agreed the used one should get me through this winter, they never tried to up sell me on the furnace. I had the appointment on Monday but then the storm came and they had some emergencies come up and so they rescheduled me for next Monday but we have extremely cold weather coming and the furnace is the only thing that keeps my pipes from freezing. I called and explained this to Courtney and bless her heart even though They had no power where their office is she was able to find someone to come and put my blower on and clean my furnace!! I would 100% recommend this company to anyone who needs furnace work done. They work with you, don’t try to make you feel bad and really listen to your concerns. I will be 100% be buying my new furnace from them in the spring. Also just as a foot note I do live out of their usually area. I live out by Peggy’s Cove which is a long drive for anyone not used to it. I have lived her over 20 years and many days coming home from work I find it long. Thank you Courtney, Kevin and the gentleman who came and fixed my furnace. You guys ROCK!!

Great experience, incredibly easy to deal with!! I dealt with Courtney for scheduling and Kevin on site and both were great. They had to go up outside stairs, down the stairs inside, through four doorways, and work in a small space. When they removed our old furnace, it made an absolute mess but you wouldn’t know it. I figured it would be messy and was fully prepared to have a big cleanup job but I didn’t, they did a great job of cleaning up. If I didn’t know they were there, I wouldn’t have known they were there. Even with the tight spaces, messy removal and extra cleanup, the two installers were super friendly and pleasant.

I was surprised at how quickly they got the job done and when they came back to install the liner, they were in and out within 30 minutes.

I would definitely recommend them!!

The men were friendly and polite. They arrived on time and quickly completed their job of installing our new oil tank There were no complaints about the icy roads nor of our temperature being a not so balmy -12 C with the cold wind blowing off the Minas Basin resulting in a -20 C (or lower) windchill. Had Nova Home Heating do some work for me and my experience was quite positive. They replaced my furnace, oil tank and chimney cap. The quote was quite reasonable. They did great work - left the work areas clean, did a fantastic job with the oil tank area, explained the new equipment and discussed all issues and warranties. The technicians were very nice and pleasant to work with and they were able to come early. Thank you to the office, Courtney, for helping me get my heat back as quick as they could. Great job done!
