We've used Annette Hale's Indoor Comfort Systems for years - both for installation of a new HVAC system, and regular maintenance on our two HVACs. Service Technicians like Chad McCormack are why we continue to use them. This last visit, as usual, Chad's expertise and efficiency was top-notch. He also took pictures and explained how our HVACs were doing clearly and professionally. We will continue to use Annette Hale's for our HVAC needs.
I would like to report what great service I received on Friday,Jan.23,2026. At 5am I called your emergency line to report that my furnace was not working. About 8:30 after I got a return call informing me that I would be first on that days work schedule, Brandon Showers arrived to diagnose my problem. He discussed my problem with video on his phone and my repair or replacement options. After I chose to replace my 16 year old HVAC , he called Matt Goodwin who arrived in about 30 minutes. Matt was very helpful in discussing my replacement options and said it would probably be Monday before a new unit could be installed. He called back later and said he was able to locate the unit I had selected and arrange installation that day! About 12:30 the installation crew arrived. Later, Bradford came back to check out the installation and operation of the unit. He was very helpful. He had previously fired up my gas fireplace and later reprogramed my thermostat. I was impressed with his knowledge and thoroughness. Bottom line: I called to report my problem at 5am and had a new unit up and operating by 4pm. What great service! And what a relief since we had very cold weather predicted for the next several days. It was a great pleasure dealing with everyone I had contact with. Thank you! Ray Butler.
Joseph with Indoor Comfort Systems was absolutely fantastic. He was super helpful and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He was honest, reliable, and took the time to explain everything so we felt confident in the decisions being made. It’s rare to find a technician who genuinely cares and is willing to go the extra mile! Joseph definitely does.
This was by FAR the best experience I’ve had with an HVAC company. Customer service line was quick, easy and helpful. The service tech Ronnie Austin was very knowledgeable and professional. He answered all of my questions with patience and I was able to understand everything he explained. I now have more confidence in my system and services.I will definitely remain a customer for years to come and give many recommendations.Thank you Annette Hales !
I had the installer of my home Lennox Package HVAC system, Indoor Comfort Systems, evaluate and repair my nonfunctioning gas heater. The unit was less than 8 years old.PROS:Techs were very proficient and were able to complete the repair in a timely manner. Communication from the company was good, although in both cases I had to call the office to get a copy of the invoice that the tech said he sent me from his tablet.CONS:The two techs were there approximately two hours and the (labor only) bill was over $1,100. I was given this quote when the evaluation ($100) was done the previous week, but was informed this was a complicated repair and it would require most of a day to tear the unit down to remove & replace the bad heat exchanger, and that it would take about a week to get the parts. Good thing it was not super cold yet! I had a 10 year warranty on parts so those were covered. Even accounting for the knowledge and efficiency of the techs, that seems like an excessive charge. When I called the company to ask for a detailed breakdown of that $1,100 quote, I was told that was what their “rate book” told them to charge. I asked to speak to the owner of the company (or CEO in this case) and was told I would need to make an appointment. When I spoke to the CEO a couple of days later, he reiterated that they use a 3rd party rate book and that is what the other HVAC companies in the area use. He asked me if I got another quote, which was a fair question, and I told him no because I had already been told that it would take a week (or more) to get parts and I didn’t want to delay the repair by having another HVAC contractor come evaluate the unit. That is on me and I should have delayed a day! The CEO’s contention was that I would get the same quote from another company anyway since they use the same rate book. That sounds like price fixing to me (which is illegal, Sherman Antitrust Act) if they are REQUIRED to use the rates in the book. However, I believe they CHOOSE to use the rates and there is nothing that requires them to use the rates. He could have worked with me on the price, given the amount of time the repair took. But instead he chose to boost profits for the day. I also asked him if he thought less than eight years of life on a gas furnace heat exchanger was reasonable and he said yes! I told him I would expect 12-15 years. Even the tech told me they are warranted for 20 years when new. That is a sad state of affairs when a high-end system like Lennox use cheap materials to increase profit margin.Bottom line is this whole experience has really lowered my opinion of Indoor Comfort Systems. The only reason I don’t give them one star is that their service techs seem to be well-trained and do good work. I will tell everyone I know about my experience with the company executive leadership, and will not be using them for any future work. Hopefully I can find a proficient and fair HVAC company that stands behind their products and doesn’t just hide behind a 3rd party rate book.
