Really had a good experience with this company to replace a package unit that went out. They came out promptly and very professional. Ty was excellent and found something other companies did not. I went with their slightly higher quote due to their knowledge. The crew that installed the unit were friendly and did quick work of the deinstall and new installation. They did professional work not cutting corners. Ty came out to inspect and this was reassuring to close things out.
Terrible experience from start to finish. The technician seemed more concerned about what they could charge us than actually diagnosing the problem. Quoting costs several times before actually doing anything. They attempted to bill over $300 to “adjust a damper,” which did nothing to fix the issue. When I questioned this, the tech claimed the entire duct system would need to be torn out for inspection - an absurd suggestion.After I recommended simply using a borescope to inspect the damper, he acted like it was a groundbreaking idea. This is shocking to me. After he did this (i'm not sure if he actually did) he said he found the damper was stuck on one side and he repaired it. After several days no changes - I question if he actually did anything and just went along with my suggestion to bill me for it.Instead of resolving anything, they pushed hard for my wife to join their “membership” program and then plastered large yellow DASH stickers all over our outdoor units, which you guys can come on out and remove.This company appears focused on upselling, not solving problems. We’ll be having another HVAC company review their work, and if it turns out nothing was actually done, I’ll be disputing the charges. Avoid this company at all costs.
