I had Donaldson Home Services redo my Bathroom. My experience is mixed, That is why I rated them a 3. I found the communication by the project coordinator very poor. It was supposed to be a 1.5 week reno that turned into 3 weeks. I have only 1 bathroom in the house and was never told of any updated timelines. Every time that I emailed saying something was not right, I was emailed back saying yes, he noticed that too. The vanity was supposed to be centred on the wall and the plumbing they put in brand new would not allow that, because it was set up for the vanity to go against the wall, so now the vanity is now off centre. Even when the job was done, all that was said was thanks for the business shook my hand and left. Did not walk the bathroom with me, didn't say they were completely done, did not return my house key at the time. During the job, they had to email me and ask what tile and paint colour I had chosen, the day before that was being done and the tile was no longer available and they had to find a substitute tile. My renovation was done in January during -17 degree weather and they just kept leaving the front door completely open for 30-40 min. periods. The tile installer did a great job but he dumped his pail of mix over my front yard leaving a big mess, even left tile levelers on the lawn. They cut out a 2x4 on a load bearing wall and did not re support it. My biggest call back for them was the mudding job. There was very obvious spots that were not sanded at all. They did finish the job and other then some small things we are satisfied with the final product.
