I'm writing this review the day after the great snow storm of January 2026, which is of course the day our heater died. After trying to get ahold of many different HVAC companies Phillips was able to get out here quickly and repair the busted inducer motor in our furnace. With the upcoming negative temperatures I wanted this issue resolved as swiftly as possible and these guys delivered. Their technician, Ethan, was punctual, polite, and provided excellent service. Thanks to Phillips we were able to have heat less than a day after our furnace conked out for some of the coldest days of the year.

5 stars ?????

My furnace stopped working at 8:30am on Saturday morning. I had to run out for an appointment and decided i would deal with it when i got home. A friend suggested i call Phillips. I checked out the google reviews and saw that they were pretty positive. In the early afternoon when i got home, i called the number listed. I got the answering machine and left my information. I thought for sure no one would call me back. But, within 4 minutes, I got a call back from Ethan. I explained my issues and he said that he was a job right now, but he would call me back when he was done and on his way. About an hour later, Ethan called and said that he was one his way. His GPS said that it would be 40 minutes. What an amazing customer experience already!!
When Ethan showed up he had a smile on his face and put me at ease immediately with his warm and genuine personality.

Ethan understood my mindset and after he diagnosed the problem he explained everything in detail of what the issue was and what he was doing. My furnace is older and is nearing the end of its life, but Ethan was able to tweak some things to at least give me heat until a replacement can be installed. I asked him if he would be the one installing a potential new furnace. He said that it would not be him, but two of his co-workers who are extremely skilled installers. It was nice to see someone talking up his team.

I was truly thinking that i was going to be spending the evening freezing but Ethan completely amazed me the entire time he was at my home. He was calm, knowledgeable, polite and genuinely took pride in the service that he was providing me. He stated several times to me that he Loved His Job! and He Loved His Company!
In todays world - THAT right there is a "5 - STAR - Employee" at a
"5-STAR -Business".

Not only did i get quick, excellent service, but i also got heat. No one wants to hear that they need to replace their Furnace or Ac, but I am truly grateful that i made that first connection with Phillips Heating & Air Conditioning.

Kudos to Phillips for not only providing a positive environment for their employees, but also providing quality techs to the public.

I used Phillips for the first time at the recommendation of my neighbor, for a winter check up. Ethan the technician went beyond the call. There were some issues and he was so thorough, kept me informed, was knowledgeable and kind. They will be my go to for furnace and A/C maintenance from now on.
I got the contract that covers both heating and A/C which they will do in spring.

We have been using Phillips Heating and Cooling for 5 years and find them amazing. Just a few days ago our air conditioning went out (on a 90 degree day!) and they came immediately to fix it and went out fo their way to make it happen event though it was pretty complicated. We are part of their maintenance program, and I am glad we are! Thank you.

I've used Phillips Heating and Cooling for years. They installed a furnace 20 years ago, as well as an A/C unit. My furnace needed a part and they were going to replace it, but I decided to get a new unit instead. I was appreciative that they didn't try to sway me into replacing it. They presented my options and I wanted to get a new furnace rather than worry about the old one conking out in another year or two. They told me Payne is made by Carrier and is essentially the same furnace, except cheaper. They provide both makes. So they don't try to up1sell their customers. At my request, they also replaced the old ductwork surrounding the furnace. I'm happy with the new furnace.

The A/C unit needed some work two summers ago and Marian who came to fix it, got the work done quickly. She did a great job of explaining the problem to me.

Yesterday, I had a new gas dryer installed to replace the old one. The gas to the furnace was accidentally shut off and when the gas was opened again, the furnace never came on again. The temperature in my house dropped to 62°F. Phillips came right away and checked it. The furnace hadn't been shut down properly, so it was a safety mechanism that had caused the issue. She looked at the furnace, hot water tank, and dryer. She even took the time to level the dryer, since the delivery people hadn't done that. She suggested that I have a new valve, that would be easy to locate and to turn, put on the pipe leading to the dryer to prevent future problems.

Phillips also has a plumber, Nick, who came today to replace the valve. He also took the time to explain what he was doing. He did a nice job and was careful to not leave a mess.
