I needed an emergency oil delivery today, and they wouldn't do it because I'm not on their "regular delivery plan", despite the fact that I've bought oil from them when I've needed it for a couple of years now. They should put that caveat on their site where they say they do 24/7 emergency services, but they won't because they're tiresome like that. Called ACE OIL and they were here in 2 hours to fill up my whole tank for a $200 emergency fee and no bullshit. Almost cried with relief.

The Atlantic Heating Company team is the best!  During the first big snow storm this winter, I knew I needed a delivery.  The temps had already started to plummet but because I'm remote, I had no way of knowing if I had enough oil at the house to avoid a freeze.  I called to request a delivery but it was too late in the schedule for a delivery to my area, but they said they would see what they could do. Long story short, three people, two in the offices, and the delivery driver, made it happen.  The driver had to break off her route, drive to my area, make the delivery, then go back to finish the route. Talk about relief!  I can't thank them enough for the extra effort. Also, I've needed repair work done in the past, and I can tell you the tech team is also top notch.  What a great company!

I called Atlantic Plumbing and Heating regarding chimney issues and was simply trying to understand their inspection process after our home was converted from oil to natural gas. As a first-time homebuyer, I was asking basic questions to learn how things work. Unfortunately, I spoke with the owner, Bill, who was extremely rude and abruptly hung up on me mid-conversation, I had more questions for you and about your business as I have not worked with your company personally. Now I definitely will not.

Overall communication was poor—staff were slow to respond and came across as unhelpful and dismissive. This was a frustrating experience, especially for someone just trying to get informed about their home. I would not recommend Atlantic Plumbing and Heating.

These guys provide the best customer service I've ever had for my heating oil and boiler / hot water system. They are prompt with delivery. They answer the phone quickly and are very thoughtful. Their oil and service prices are great. And the people who have done the annual cleaning, and responded to a service call have been very experienced and knowledgable.

I'm super happy with Atlantic Heating Company and highly recommend them.

I had a great interaction with the receptionist and service coordinator letting me know exactly what to expect for charges and timing. True, plumbing repairs aren’t typically inexpensive, and after a holiday weekend one can’t expect to be moved ahead of people on contract or with serious emergencies.

They were able, however, to squeeze in a same day diagnostic visit from Michael, one of their experienced technicians. Michael was friendly and helpful, but I just get this happy feeling when I am watching a real expert exercise their craft. Michael was happy to have me pepper him with questions, answering while looking at me, clearly able to do this job blindfolded. He was fast enough to actually finish the job rather than just diagnose the problem, and all is working well with our hot water now. I’m a DIY’er who can do some useful plumbing, and I can recognize a true expert when I see one. Michael didn’t waste time or energy doing anything that didn’t have to be done. The expense is much easier to swallow when the plumbing show was as entertaining and educational as a Broadway play — seen from the front row. Many thanks to Michael and the crew at Atlantic!
