First off, their tech has expertise in my system and I will probably call them again if it goes out. However, the really low price for a diagnostic was made up for on the repair job. The parts were under warrantee so the repair cost was purely labor. Way overpriced ($1000+) for the two hours of time the parts install took.
Air Plus Heating & Cooling installed a brand new heating and cooling system with a heat pump in our basement and a mini-split in our upstairs bedroom.Jim, One of the owners, made sure the vents & return air duct were placed so the system would be the most efficient with our 20 foot open beam living room ceiling. He also hung the main HVAC unit from the floor joists in the basement to maximize our basement storage space, which was greatly appreciated. It became apparent he has a lot of experience in HVAC problem solving and layout of new systems.Andrew & Bobby, the installation team with Jim, were both very professional & meticulous hard workers that took pride in their work and thoroughly cleaned up any dust & debris as they worked.Nicole, the office manager, was very pleasant on the phone and kept us well informed from beginning to end and was really great at answering any questions we had.We love our new system and Air Plus gets our highest recommendations for any HVAC work you may need done.
We had a new HVAC heat pump installed by Air Plus Heating and Cooling. We received excellent services throughout the process. Nicole was always there, timely helping with questions, anything from scheduling, incentives to final installation. Andrew and Bobbi were very efficient and effective in installing the equipment. Jim, the owner, personally come onsite to make sure we were taken care of. I would recommend this team without hesitation! The system runs well and we are now totally enjoying it.
I interviewed many companies before deciding on Air Plus Heating and Cooling. It was worth the wait! Andrew installed a wonderful system with all kinds of bells and whistles. Interestingly enough, the price was very reasonable! I love my HVAC but I also like the service I receive. Andrew does a very thorough job when servicing the equipment for the season changes. Jim, one of the owners, is very experienced at problem solving issues and insuring your system will operate beautifully. But just wait until Nicole, the receptionist, answers your call. She will brighten your day! Truly, I could not be more pleased at the quality service, skill, and products Air Plus Heating and Air delivers. They are an A+ company!
This is the third time we use Air Plus Heating & Cooling. Back in 2009 & 2011 we had Jim performed annual service on our system. 2011 Jim found out a couple things that need to rectify by the installer. We were impressed back then but because their work hour and our free time did not match, we can not use their service regularly.Jan 2025 we were advised by the tune up tech .. we need new heater.We decided to go fully electric since we have solar.We had 2 estimated, before we made the decision we remember Jim but not his company name.After dig up old bills we found the name of his company.First, Jim was patient enough to answered all our questions. He talked clear and slow enough for me to understand.Second, NO PRESSURE sale pitch.Just explained different between gas and electric heater.Air Plus did gave us discount, not as much as the other 2 estimates, the total estimate with discount and cash rebate from the system was 8 thousand less than our first estimate, and $1000 more than the second estimate (IF we decide ON SAME DAY, 3 wks later we were offered more manager discount!)We chose Air Plus because we like how Jim work.Jim came, answered all our questions and concerns, advised us what’s best for us, not what is best for the sale.We decided to go with the company we can trust on taking care of us and our system in the future.Jim and Andrew came and took them less than 2 days.They lined the work space , clean up, vacuum before they go.I believe our hallway is cleaner than before they came!Andrew set up the thermostat and patiently show my husband how to use it.(Our next door neighbor had a new thermostat put in, and the text set up for her but not explain in detail how to use it for her)We took pictures of before and after and showed to all our families and friends, even out of state one!We are glad we chose Air Plus. Everyone we met are very nice, Nicole at the office had to put up with lots of same questions from me over the phone, still answered all with cheerful voice.We feel Air Plus is one of the company that take pride in what they do.We rarely write reviews since English is my second language and my husband didn’t think it’s important.This is the first time I write review on my own!
