Ball and Sons provides prompt, professional service! All the time, every time! Upon awakening to a very cold house with no heat, Ball and Sons provided same day service to efficiently troubleshoot and repair the problem! Thank you! Your excellent service is greatly appreciated!Tammy Butler
Val, from Ball & Sons gave me a call the other day to suggest a maintenance check-in on my Vitodens in-floor system and my (standard) furnace at out rental next door, as I was due for that. So we booked for a day or two later.Keith showed up right on time, with pre-calls to make sure it was still going to work at that time, etc. Keith had also installed the new boiler a few years ago which highlights a thing I like about using the Saskatoon originated/family business type contractors: there is a nice sense of continuity with who you deal with, and with knowledge and history of your system.Keith noticed a couple of things that could proactively be changed out and as I like keeping things in top condition I had him change those out, and kept the still usable parts for spares. (The other furnace was fine).I had a conversation with Keith about our set-up, other set-ups, some of the issues he runs into, the lifespan of other parts, etc. and he was patient with my curiosity; (I appreciate the opportunity to learn a bit more about the systems in our house, or from any of the specialty tradespeople, mechanics, etc. with whom I deal).I'd also mentioned that with the major expense of the Vitodens boiler replacement some years past, Ball & Sons was a significantly better deal the national company I also had an estimate from, which made "buying local" a good idea twice! Quality service with a heart! Thanks, Val, Keith, Jim!(Also: am a big fan of the Vitodens in-floor system).
Called Ball & Sons because of water leaking from my relief valve on the hot water heater. Turned out it was caused by my expansion tank. Everything was fixed in less than an hour. Great service!
We have utilized Ball & Sons as our HVAC contractor for many years. This includes a furnace, hot water heater and a garage unit heater installation. In my opinion each and every time, the service and workmanship was great, while pricing was competitive on the name brand Lennox products. I would recommend, and, as this local contractor has been in business for 50 plus years, it says a lot!CF
Balls & Sons was absolutely amazing. The customer service was phenomenal, they were compassionate, very knowledgeable, the work was done in a timely manner, actually very quickly. They don't have the same feel as the huge companies that leave you feeling as just another task.My furnace hadn't been working for awhile, and the first furnace company I reached out to took a few weeks getting back to us. We eventually reached out to them over a week later and he apologized for not getting back sooner, he was just busy.I then made a call to Balls & Sons Heating. By this time it was getting below zero and we were freezing. They showed up that same day I called and had the new furnace installed within 4 days, I'm confident it would have been sooner if a weekend wasn't in-between the call and the instalation. They also brought us all of their plug in heaters, one for each room until they could return. They were absolutely amazing over all. I felt confident dealing with them, which isnt a usual for me being a woman who knows nothing about this type of work. I never felt taken advantage of, or deemed for not being educated on furnace systems. I would highly recommend them and will be going to them regularly, and recommending them to all of my friends and family.
