Reviews frequently mention straightforward assessments, responsive office communication, and installers who involve homeowners in placement decisions. Multiple customers report quick diagnostics and next-day fixes for minor issues. Some feedback raises concerns about differences between quoted and invoiced costs, particularly when models changed, indicating the importance of confirming scope and pricing details in advance.

Reliable Heat Pump Services did a fantastic job diagnosing and resolving our heat pump issue. The technician was on time, very knowledgeable and knew exactly what the issue was. They even gave me the part number so I could even find a cheaper price online. They fixed the issue quickly and the heat pump is working flawlessly again. They did a great job! Very highly recommended!

I called around to compare prices and while the fee for the initial visit was basically the same amongst everyone I called, their hourly rate for actual service was $50.00 to $100.00 lower than others.

If you have an issue with your heat pump/mini split these guys are the ones to contact.

Highly recommend Reliable Heat Pump Services Ltd. This is a local, family run business. The assessment was simple and James provided me with easy to understand professional advice. The office was very responsive when it came to the quotes and setting up the install. Their installers are very professional, and involved me when figuring out the particulars of where and how everything was going to be hooked up. They also took care of the electrical install and the subcontractor they work with for that part was also very tidy and the electrical work very clean. They are also very responsive to questions I had about the units after they were installed. These are the first min-splits we've ever owned and so we had lots of questions, especially during the winter months. Some people may not see a difference in the heat bill, but I certainly did this year. All thanks to Reliable Heat Pump Services and their great team.

I have had 2 Fujitsu mini splits installed by Reliable Heat pump services. They do great quality work with excellent service. I contacted them about a minor issue with one, they sent a technician out the next morning and fixed the problem. A+

The instillation of the Heat Pump is much more than just the purchase and instillation. Even more important is the credibility of those giving the quote, the quality of the product and the reliability of the company backing up the instillation with future service/maintenance. I could have chosen from many companies providing many brands of heat pumps. But I chose Reliable because their name says it all. First of all they are selling te Fujitsu brand which is know for its quality and features. Secondly, James is so very knowledgeable and honest in his assessments that it give me and my wife a sense of comfort and confidence that we are dealing with the right person who will tell us the truth and let us know what we actually need and why. We have had many in to give a quote, but none with James' knowledge. Thirdly is Sheena, te Manger who keeps on top of many thing importation to the purchase and instillation of the heat pump. We did not buy just a heat pump, we paid for the comfort and confidence Reliable provides and peace of mind in knowing that these credible people are there to back up their products. What more can one ask for, nothing in my opinion.

I have not had good experiences from the start. The invoice compared to the original quote was much higher. They did not have the model they originally quoted me for and asked if I would be OK with a "slightly" more expensive model, smooth! I agreed to get the unwanted upgrade. However, the invoice was $2000 more than the quote - I called to figure where the charge was coming from. This is when they informed that the labor cost for this new model was much higher but never mentioned it when discussing the cost of upgrading to the new model. OK, very clever.

Once installed, there was a strange buzzing coming from the unit in my bedroom (right above my bed). I reached out to RHP, and they told me that it was normal and would stop once the unit was running for a while. After some more time had passed (2-3 months) It did not stop. I was being woken up in the middle of the night by the buzzing. I would have to turn the unit off in the middle of the night and wake up in a freezing cold room for weeks. After calling RHP again, they said they knew what it was and would fix it. The crew came back again and said they knew what it was. They needed to order a part and would install it when it arrived. Eventually, the part arrives, and they install it. They say give it a little time and the buzzing would stop. A few months pass, and the noise is continuing. I've reached the conclusion that this unit must have been refurbished and resold to me. A "premium product" out of the box is not working properly (the other heat pump does not make the noise). I reach out again to the same individual again and ask about a possible replacement because this one has been defective from the start. They say they will send the same crew over. They arrive, acknowledging having been here previously for this buzzing issue months before. After a few hours, they determine that the motor is defective (for whatever reason, the wiring they said) and that they would order a new motor. Some time goes by, and they get the part, come back, and install it. It works! It finally works... the buzzing has stopped. After 18 months of back and forth and disruptive sleep, it worked.

One week later, I received a bill from RHP. I called them to discuss this. Their response was that I was responsible for paying for the crew to diagnose the problem. The same problem that I called them for before but failed to fix. Neither RHP of Fujitsu was liable for this bill because I waited too long to reach out about the issue? I have talked to them several times about it, and it was not dealt with effectively, so when I reach out again, it's at my expense. It was the same issue the entire time.

I have written a lot of positive Google reviews, and I love promoting good people, products, and services. Unfortunately, this has not been the case with Reliable Heat Pumps. Also, Fujitsu products are not "premium products" by my experience. There are lots of suppliers out there, I urge you to try elsewhere because RHP does not have your best interest in mind, and
Fujitsu are not "premium products." Please note that the technicians were friendly and enthusiastic. Thanks, Evan.
