Please do not drive so recklessly. Especially while in a company branded truck. There is no reason to act like that.I would not want someone so careless in my home, they clearly do not care about the safety of others they won’t care about doing the job right.
Recently my 25 year old furnace was comdened by a service man hired to clean our furnace. They could not replace furnace for 2-3 days, weather turning cold. Called Klimit within the hour two owners were here to find what size furnace, etc. was required and give a quote for replacement. Klimit came the next day to install new furnace. Nice clean job, efficient and cleaned up well. Furnace working well. Happy with job and priceMichael Kunka
Reckless driving. In a provincial park I was pulled over with hazards. Klimit truck came up from behind, another car slowly approaching the opposite direction (toward us), a fox in the road. The Klimit truck nailed the gas, swerved around me,, tried to hit the fox (it ran) and narrowly avoided hitting the oncoming car. Unacceptable.
This company came and installed my new furnace for reliance and did a great job. When I contacted them to come and fix the furnace in my garage I had spoken to a woman at their office, she advised that they do not work on furnaces that they have not installed. She did state that there was a couple of companies that she could refer me too for assistance. Approx 2 weeks prior I had spoken to a man at their office who stated he would send someone to come fix it. I advised the woman of this and she stated that she would have to speak to someone and call me back.It had need 4 weeks since then and I have not had a call back. I have phoned their office approx 10 times over the four weeks and left a message every time. I have still not heard anything from them.Like I said at the beginning, they do great work if you can get ahold of them. Not sure how you don’t t even call a customer back for four weeks and stay In business.
They were fast to come for the initial visit to provide a quote for a new furnace, however once a date was secured and I booked off time from work for the visit, the workers arrived late that morning. As soon as they arrived they started taking apart the old furnace, but then went to grab the new furnace from their truck and realized it was damaged beyond repair and they couldn’t install it.I was told I’d get a call back that afternoon to secure a new installation date, but then never heard back. This was when we had the coldest days back in January.Following the workers leaving, I looked at security footage and saw that the workers damaged the furnace due to how they transported it to my house (laying on an angle tipped over in the bed of a pickup truck). Since by that point I hadn’t heard anything about a new date, I reached out to find out what was going on, and still never received a response back. It’s been almost 2 months now with no response from them, which is fine because I went with Clow Darling instead who did an incredible job for a better price anyways.I’m sure Klimate is busy, and people make mistakes, but the fact they never followed up to try and secure a new date and apologize for the inconveniences and time I had to book off work for the appointment wasn’t a good business practice, especially because we were without heat in the coldest time of the year. Was hoping they’d reach out before making this post, but since they haven’t I just want others to be warned of what could happen.
