I found the service extremely competent and fast. My hot water tank for my rental started leaking. The technician was there within a couple hours and assessed that I needed a new tank. Within five hours they had swapped out the old one, installed the new one and the technician was extremely friendly and informative. It was a good experience in a stressful time
Wish that we had read the reviews for this rip off company before having them in our home. Like others we cannot get a call back to complain about the toilet that they installed-it runs most of the time, cost for toilet & tank was at least $300+ more than Amazon or Home Depoit-huge mark up to Milani. Price for a new toilet was not brought up before the service man arrived with a $1100.00 unit. No warranty or paper work was given to us. I have made two phone calls & waited ten days but still no call back. The service man that came was polite & on time but was very inexperienced.
Frank from Milani showed up on time even though his GPS tried to take him to a different address. He was professional and thorough while trouble shooting my heat pump even though there were 2 pups in the background beaking off!Frank did a very thorough service maintenance on two different heat pumps for me whereas two other companies I had used in the past weren't nearly as thorough. I feel like the two units are clean and safe to use and the units look brand new again. The other two companies didn't even clean the outside units but Frank did.Thank you Frank for providing excellent service.
Today is approximately the two year anniversary of purchasing a new furnace for my home from Milani. Milani gave me three options. I chose the most expensive and so-called "Best" option, because I was told that the new furnace would produce 20% more BTU's (heat) than my existing furnace. Both the old and the new were Lennox Brand. The original furnace provided enough heat except that for some reason it would turn off on some of the coldest days, and the year before it had stopped and a technician couldn't figure out how to turn it back on for ten days. That was it for me! In short, the new furnace won't even keep up the temperature on cold days. It's one degree outside today, and two degrees down inside from where I'm comfortable. If it goes to minus 10, the temperature inside goes down to 19 degrees (67 F) - not comfortable enough for me. Even the OLD furnace stayed at the temperature I like. Milani would not address this issue. They treated me like a "problem". Lennox wouldn't talk to me, leaving it up to their dealer to handle issues. I even offered to pay for a bigger better furnace and take a big hit on the current furnace, but Milani said NO. Every day that it's cold reminds me of this situation. Believe me, I will be telling people for the next 30 years about it. (Photo shows temp 2 degrees F (4 C) down inside from desired temp, at 1 degree C (39 F) temp outside. I can't wait for February (sarcasm))!
I recently used Milani Plumbing and was happy with my service. My initial phone call was pleasant and I was informed that I wasn't phoning the old company, Miles plumbing. I was given their name and told to look them up if I wanted to which I appreciated and I did. I also appreciated that I was given the prices up front for service. Cost for 1st hour, cost for every extra 30 minutes and cost for snake if used. I appreciated this. Eric was pleasant and did a good job to resolve our problem. I would have given them 5 stars except they were unable to come on the day I was told which was okay because it wasn't a crisis but it was an inconvenience. They did come first thing the next morning which I appreciated. From my experience I would recommend Milani plumbing.
