When my furnace stopped working, booking an appointment for the repair was smooth and timely. There was continuous communication via text with regards to the appointment time and when the tech would be arriving. The tech Angelo was very pleasant and efficient at diagnosing and replacing the faulty part. I highly recommend Tradesman Mechanical for furnace repairs.
This is a review that I've been meaning to send for a number of years. It is only now that I've found the time and energy to get it out. May it be received just in time. :)My family lives in a midcentury home in the northwest part of the city. As far as I know, we are this house's third owners. We took it over from my father-in-law.Like many things built and raised in that era, our house is solid, reliable and does its job. But as the years passed, like all things, major house essentials started to show their age.Such house essentials included: the air conditioning unit (died in the middle of Summer '22), the furnace (died in the cold of Winter '24), and just a couple weeks ago during the cold snap, it was the hot water tank that went out.For each one of these needs, I've gone with Tradesman.It was on faith that I reached out to them for the first time in 2022. That experience went well, so I reached out to them the second time in 2024. That was a very good experience so much so that although our old HW tank wasn't marked by Tradesman, I went with them anyway. And they did not disappoint.They were open and available, considerate of our needs (especially in emergency), they didn't give off vibes of scheming and untrustworthiness, they got the job done in timely, thorough and professional (yet neighbourly) fashion, they answered all my questions, they didn't leave the jobsite a mess, they were respectful of our space, and they were clear about pricing. Because of these, I will continue to give this company our trust.I've personally dealt with Lalaine, Salve, Jun, Angelo, Matt, and others. Each interaction with them has left me with something indicative of consistency and integrity. I think this speaks to great leadership.There is this sense of family, knowledge, expertise, respect, and old school goodness and do the job right kinda feel to all of them. There is honesty and hard work there, too.From my end, this business isn't about taking money from people. I was very satisfied with the team that installed my furnace.They were all friendly and professional, which is super important to me. Matt even gave the dog I'm babysitting a bit of attention, which she loved.The guys were respectful of my home and did a nice cleanup after the job was done.I appreciated getting all my questions answered.All in all, this was a good experience for me, and I hope that I made the guys feel welcome in my home as well.
I trusted this company with my largest investment... my home. I had used their serviced a very long time ago and remember back then it was a good experience. Now a home owner needing a new furnace I thought.. why not go with them again? I did and am BEYOND impressed and grateful. They were efficient, kind, very polite with impeccable manners and respectful while in my home, extrmely knowledgeable and didnt sell me anything I didnt need. Plus, the one guy had a great sense of humor which only made thinfs feel a but more at ease. They were all very personable too. They made the entire experience actually enjoyable for not having heat for a half a day while in a Winnipeg winter while They switched out my furnace. They walked me through everything and explained things in an easy to understand way. They even did a few little extras just to clean things up. I am so super happy, my basement looks new for an older home. Thanks to the Jezrell & Angelo & team for doing such an amazing job!! ??I AM SO HAPPY I went with them again. I truly highly recommend.
